Alex Payne - Glendale, CA
Alex, originally from London, England, has been in the IT field since he was 17. He holds a Master of Engineering in Information Systems from the University of Surrey. After gaining experience and multiple certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and others in London, he moved to Los Angeles to work at an ISP managing networks and helpdesk operations. In 2001, Alex founded Techital to fill a market gap. The company offers managed IT services with a people-centric approach, focusing on understanding and meeting client needs with personalized and effective solutions.
Ed Avaness - Glendale, CA
Ed has over 25 years of experience in IT and currently serves as the Professional Services Manager. He is responsible for leading a team in delivering high-quality technical solutions and services. Ed's deep industry knowledge helps him effectively manage complex IT projects and meet client needs. In his personal life, Ed enjoys spending quality time with his family. He loves going to the beach, participating in outdoor activities, and barbequing. He values a balance between work and personal interests, finding joy in both his professional achievements and family time.
Sim Singh - Glendale, CA
Sim has been a Systems Engineer for over 14 years, bringing extensive experience and expertise to the field. His role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Sim is passionate about technology and is adept at solving challenging technical problems. In addition to his passion for technology, Sim enjoys spending time in nature, often hiking, exploring, and finding peace in the outdoors. This balance between technology and the natural world enriches his life both professionally and personally.
Bryanna Gunn - Frisco, TX
Bryanna brings more than nine years of experience across IT, operations, and client management. She’s known for her organized approach, strong communication, and focus on building lasting relationships. Bryanna brings over nine years of experience across IT, operations, HR, and client management. She’s known for her organized approach, strong communication, and ability to connect people and processes to deliver smooth, efficient service. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, Bryanna is also passionate about animal rescue and fosters cats and kittens through local organizations. Two of her former fosters, Cooper and Papaya, quickly became part of her family and keep life lively outside of work. She’s a natural collaborator who thrives on helping teams succeed and clients feel supported.
Joseph Marbella - Glendale, CA
Joseph is a dedicated Helpdesk Technician with a strong background in customer service. With years of experience, Joseph excels at assisting users with technical issues, providing clear and empathetic support. His passion for helping people and solving problems makes him an invaluable member of the helpdesk team. Outside of work, Joseph and his wife enjoy exploring new restaurants and cuisines as dedicated foodies. He also takes great pride in being a father to his sweet and smart daughter, who brings joy to his life. Joseph's warm and approachable nature shines through in his professional and personal interactions.
Tony Hartounian - Glendale, CA
Tony Hartounian: Team Leader. Tony has over eight years of experience at Techital, during which he has held various roles. He is currently the Team Leader, overseeing the Help Desk operations team. His diverse experience has provided him with a strong understanding of the company's operations and culture. Outside of work, Tony enjoys immersing himself in the vibrant world of live music and is an enthusiast of whisky tasting. He also has a playful side, often joking about his singing abilities. Tony's blend of professional dedication and lively personality makes him a well-rounded and engaging leader within the company.
Masarrat Rahman - Glendale, CA
Masarrat is a Helpdesk Technician at Techital with a lifelong passion for technology. From an early age, he was fascinated by computers and how they work, a curiosity that continues to drive him today. He is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at California State University, Northridge, where he is further developing his technical knowledge and skills. With a background in customer service, Masarrat understands that great IT support is about more than just fixing computers. It's about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and supported. By combining his technical expertise with a friendly, patient approach, he strives to make every interaction a positive experience and ensure clients feel they're in good hands.
Trebor Copeland-Ricketts - Frisco, TX
Trebor Copeland-Ricketts is a Helpdesk and Field Technician at Techital with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and cybersecurity. His journey into IT began at an early age, building computers from the ground up and developing a hands-on understanding of how technology works. This curiosity led him to pursue cybersecurity in college, where he focused on understanding how systems can fail, identifying vulnerabilities, and building stronger, more secure solutions. For Trebor, a career in IT was a natural next step. Whether assisting clients remotely or working directly with them on-site, he enjoys the variety of challenges that come with technical support. With a practical, analytical approach and a genuine enthusiasm for technology, Trebor is dedicated to solving problems, continually expanding his skills, and ensuring clients feel confident and well-supported with their technology.
Daniel Payne - Glendale, CA
Daniel Payne is a student at Glendale Community College with a strong background in robotics, engineering, and technology. Before college, he attended Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School, where he competed in numerous robotics and engineering competitions and earned several awards, including recognition through MESA Machines. Daniel is the founder of Playermade Studios, creating UGC games for Fortnite and mobile that have reached more than 500,000 unique players and generated over 25 million minutes of playtime. He also works part-time as a Help Desk Technician at Techital, supporting users and gaining hands-on IT experience. Previously, he taught after-school coding classes for Glendale Unified School District, helping elementary students learn programming fundamentals.
