In-House/on-site technical support person

Seeking a IT support person with well-rounded technical skills and professional experience to assist with IT operations for small and mid-size office environments. We need someone who is dependable with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and the drive to advance their career though self development and on-the-job training.

  • Good PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills;
  • Good advanced knowledge of Windows 2003/2000/XP, Server/Workstation, MS Office, Outlook and Exchange in a networked environment;
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, data backups, various hardware peripherals, including raid arrays, tape backup drives, scanners, computer internal hardware, and printer maintenance;
  • Ability to diagnose workstation, peripheral, printer problems and use internet resources to research technical issues;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to document and track actions taken to resolve problems, and maintain inventory logs;
  • Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize workflow appropriately;
  • Good team member, user support and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work well with people with disabilities and assistive technologies;
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
