RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Immediate opening for an entry-level Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for an IT consulting firm in Altadena, CA. Job duties will primarily consist of receptionist and administrative tasks, including but not limited to the following:

  • Answering phone calls and taking messages
  • Greet and welcome occasional guests
  • Route office correspondence
  • Coordinate technician visits with clients
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Maintain general office organization and tidiness
  • Enter invoices and credit card bills in Quickbooks
  • Internet research
  • Occasional letter writing
  • Data entry and filing
  • Running Errands - eg bank deposits
  • Prepare outgoing mail and express/messenger packages
  • General support to senior staff
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Prefer candidate with B.A. or B.S. or equivalent work experience in a similar position
  • Must be internet savvy
  • Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of Quickbooks Pro a plus
  • Be hard working and dedicated
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneous
  • Strong math, communication and writing skills
  • “Can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation for occasional errands
